  On a rating of enjoyment for the ten games I played of Heroes of Newerth this weekend, eight were un-enjoyable, one was mediocre, and only one of ten was actually enjoyable and worth the time I had spent. I decided to marathon play Heroes of Newerth this weekend, and then quit it. Hopefully forever.

  After over four thousand games, from its alpha release, through closed and open beta, and into its free-to-play phase, it is time to move on to newer games and greener, more rage-free pastures.

  Goodbye, Heroes of Newerth. I enjoyed my time.

  Spring 2012 Goals

  This quarter will be my last period of undergraduate education, and probably the last of my life at UCLA. I feel that life seems fast from the rear view mirror, though slow over the dashboard. I wanted to write down some personal goals to accomplish before June.

  • Cook a couple times a week (anything further than microwaving constitutes cooking in my mind).
  • Swim 4-6km per week.
  • Return to Diamond League in StarCraft 2.
  • Finish the drafts of Rain Town.
  • Ask a girl out.
  • Stop drinking so much damn fruit juice.
  • Wake up happy.
